Templates Templates
SmoothDocs uses templates to create customized documents . A single template can be used to create thousands of documents. A template is required to create a document.
Templates consist of two components :
Sections - portions of text (paragraphs etc) that are assembled by the end user to create a document. A template can contain any number of sections. When a template is used to create a document, the user selects which sections will be included in that document.
Fields - pieces of text which change from document to document. When a document is created, the user customizes text in each field.
